What people usually ask before booking. Each service page has its own questions too.
Why do you show price ranges instead of exact prices?
Every house is different: how big it is, how high the gutters are, how much green is on the siding. The ranges on each service page show what typical homes around here pay. We look at your house and confirm the exact price in person, and nothing is scheduled until you agree to it.
Is soft washing the same as pressure washing?
No. Pressure washing uses a high-pressure stream to blast dirt off. Soft washing uses a cleaning solution to kill algae and mildew, then rinses at low pressure. We soft wash siding and use pressure only on concrete.
Do you do repairs?
Not right now. We focus on exterior cleaning. If we notice something that needs fixing, like a loose gutter or peeling paint, we take photos and tell you.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not for most jobs. We need access to an outdoor spigot and a way around the house.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?
Light rain does not stop a gutter cleaning or a house wash. Heavy rain, lightning and freezing temperatures do. We will text you to pick a new date.
Can I book several services on the same visit?
Yes. We clean the gutters first, then wash the house, then do the windows and finally the concrete, so nothing dirty runs onto something already clean. Tick everything you need on the quote form.
What areas do you serve?
Geist, Fishers, McCordsville, Fortville, Lawrence, Noblesville and the surrounding northeast side of Indianapolis. If you are nearby but not on that list, send your address and we will tell you if we can come out.
Is Geist Exterior Care the same company as Geist Headlight Restoration?
They are run by the same local owners, as two separate businesses. Geist Headlight Restoration handles cars, Geist Exterior Care handles the outside of your home.
