Exterior cleaning in Geist's Edge
The Lawrence side of the reservoir, from Admirals Landing to Sunset Cove.
Geist's Edge is the City of Lawrence's name for the area along the eastern shore of Geist Reservoir. It is not one subdivision but more than twenty, including Admirals Landing, Bay Ridge, Bradford Creek, Crystal Pointe, Echo Pointe, Geist Pointe Estates, Glen Cove, Sunset Cove and The Highlands at Geist.
Being on the Lawrence side does not change how the houses get dirty. The trees, the shade and the damp near the water are the same as anywhere around Geist, so the shaded walls go green and the gutters fill every fall. We clean homes here the same way we do across the water.
What Geist's Edge homes usually need
- Shaded siding near the water is where green algae starts.
- Gutters under the shoreline trees usually need a fall and a spring cleaning.
- Driveways and walks under the trees get a surface cleaner for an even finish.
